A very moist and unsettled northwest flow with favorable orographic lift will continue to keep snow going for the northern mountains of western Colorado and Steamboat Springs area through Thursday morning, where Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect until 11 am Thursday. Expect an additional 6 to 12 inches, with storm totals since Tuesday reaching 20 to 30 inches by Thursday morning. Some snow will spread into the central mountains overnight as a stronger embedded disturbance pushes through, with lesser amounts expected. Dry conditions and mild, above normal temperatures can be expected elsewhere. There will be a break on Friday and Saturday as a ridge moves overhead, with dry conditions and warming temperatures. The next system is expected to move through Saturday night through Sunday, with widespread precipitation.
